As part of its ongoing expansion of specialty services for the island of Maui, Pacific Permanente Group (PPG) is pleased to welcome Mark L. Rosenblatt, MD, FASGE, a board-certified gastroenterologist with expertise in interventional endoscopy.
Dr. Rosenblatt joins PPG’s growing multispecialty team and will be seeing patients at Maui Memorial Medical Center, helping to meet rising demand for inpatient digestive health services across the island.
With over two decades of experience in therapeutic endoscopy, Dr. Rosenblatt brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and leadership to his role. He most recently served as Chief of Therapeutic Endoscopy at UCHealth Gastroenterology in Longmont, Colorado. He has held similar leadership roles at Banner Health in Greeley and Boulder Medical Center, and he previously served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois.
Fellowship-trained in gastroenterology and hepatology (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) and advanced therapeutic endoscopy (St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin), Dr. Rosenblatt completed his medical degree at Tel Aviv University School of Medicine and did his internship and residency training at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and Greenwich Hospital/Yale University School of Medicine in Greenwich, Conn. He is board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
“It’s been incredibly rewarding to join Pacific Permanente Group and start caring for patients here on Maui,” said Dr. Rosenblatt. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring my experience in advanced endoscopy to a place that feels both welcoming and committed to clinical excellence. I look forward to continuing to serve this community and helping expand access to high-quality specialty care on the Valley Isle.”
Dr. Rosenblatt’s clinical interests include advanced, minimally invasive procedures that help diagnose and treat conditions of the digestive system – such as endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), procedures to treat bile duct and pancreas issues (ERCP), and techniques to remove or treat abnormal growths in the digestive tract. He also performs nonsurgical treatments for acid reflux, including the TIF (transoral incisionless fundoplication) procedure. Dr. Rosenblatt is a Fellow of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and a member of both the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.
